Overview
Report automation refers to automated actions that can be performed
on contacts that meet the criteria in a Dynamic Report. The actions that
can be performed are:

Add contacts to a [marketing
campaign](/help/pro/smartcampaigns/-/introduction).

Invite contacts to an event.
-
Send letters
to contacts.

Create follow-up Call-type activities
for callers.
Report automation options are specified in [Dynamic
Report Setup](/help/pro/dynamic/report/setup/dialog/box) while creating
or modifying
a Dynamic Report.
Automated actions can be run from the [Dynamic
Report List](/help/pro/dynamic/reports/-/searching/for/dynamic/reports) or from the results list that displays when the user runs a report.
Running Automation from the Dynamic Report List

[Search
for the report](/help/pro/dynamic/reports/-/searching/for/dynamic/reports).

Tag the report in the Dynamic Report List.

Select Menu > Run Report Automation.
Note: This method runs report
automation for all contacts who meet the criteria specified in the Dynamic
Report. To run automation for specific contacts, run report automation
from the Dynamic Report results list after running the report.

In the report results list, tag one or more contacts.
