Sets - Searching for Sets
In this topic:
Performing a Search
- From the side menu, click People & Companies and then select Sets from the expanded menu to search for sets by name or description.
- To display all sets in the system, leave all fields blank. To narrow down the search, complete one or more of the following fields: Set Name: Enter the name of the set to be located.
- Description: Enter a description of the set.
- Created By: To find sets created by a specific user, click the Created By hyperlink. In the dialog box that opens, select the user.
- Show My Favorites: If the user has designated favorite sets, selecting this option limits the search to those sets.
- In the Sets Shown section, select one of the following options:
- All Sets: This option returns all sets that meet the search criteria specified.
- Created by Me: This option returns sets created by the signed-in user that meet the search criteria specified.
- Created by Me and My Proxies: When this option is selected, the search returns sets created either by the signed-in user or by users for whom the signed-in user proxies.
Note: The Sets Shown section does not display if the user has selected the Show My Favorites option. For information about favorites, see Favorite Records.
- Click the Search button.
Set List
The Set List displays the results of the filter search.
Click a set name to view its details and/or modify them, or click the Set Members content link to view the members of the set. For information about set details, see Creating a Set and Adding and Deleting Set Members.
Displaying Set Members as a List
While viewing the Set Members content link of a set, the user can display the set members as a regular SmartOffice list. The benefit of this feature is that it displays all of the standard buttons, Menu options, tabs and content links for that record type.
- From the Set List, tag a set.
- Select Menu > Go to List.
